Mignon artichokes
Typical Apulian product, the artichoke (Cynara scolymus) is a plant that is well adapted to our area. ONLY the best artichoke is picked and processed within a day. Then, we cook them in water and white wine vinegar, in order to keep excellent organoleptic characteristics. In the leaves, an active ingredient plays a mild therapeutic action for small liver and kidney diseases. In this case, we use the smaller and tender artichokes for those who wants to taste one by one a gastronomic gem. They contain vitamins B1, B2, PP, C, provitamin A, E. Minerals: calcium, phosphorus, iron, sodium, potassium, copper, and zinc. Contraindications: use with caution for those who are diabetics and in presence of diarrheal phenomena.
